My grandbaby
Haha! Did I get you with that one? No? Oh well.
My daughter, who is 12 years old, has already decided a few things for her future. For years now, she has said that she does not WHATSOEVER want to give birth to a baby. Not only is it painful (thank you unrealistic TV and movie versions of childbirth) , but she doesn't want to ruin her body. Hmmm. You think she remembers seeing me without clothes when she was younger.
No need to fear though. She is planning on adopting. And if it's a girl, her name will be Naomi. Isn't that the sweetest name for a little grandbaby? That would be really funny if she actually sticks with those plans. Will keep y'all updated!

I felt like all the movies, TV and childbirth class discussions made it seem like labor would be quick and painless (one push and the baby's out!)

She might stick with the name, but the other stuff could definitely change! :)

I love how TV shows and movies make it look like all labors & deliveries last 30 minutes from start to finish.
Naomi is a nice name. And adoption is a wonderful plan.

Bearette- I like the Naomi plan, too. I never really liked the name, but I can totally picture her baby being named that. Strange.
Suzy- For sure! Especially since she's only 12.
Liz- I'm always amused at how the first contraction has the woman doubling over in pain and sends everyone around her into a frenzy. And then the quickest labor known to man (or woman, I guess). Silly writers. Must be all men.
I hope she sticks with the plan on both accounts. :)

I agree. The Naomi plan is good.

Liz- Nope. And they never EVER poop with a roomful of people.
Caro- Your vote has been counted!

Good that she didn't tell you: Mum when I will become pregnant I will dismiss it, because I don't want to have children.
So be proud od your doughter and Naomi it is beautiful name for the girl(especially for grandbaby), but the idea of adoption - it's great to hear that some teenagers have something in the head, not only Justin Bieber;)

Ev- Yes, I am VERY proud of my daughter. She has got a great head on her shoulders. :) Also, thanks for reading and commenting. I know I've abandoned this poor blog, but it's good to see people occasionally still pop in here to read. I would love to read your blog, but I don't speak or read Polish! Need a translator! LOL
