Aaahhhh.......How Sweet!

Jesse comes home from school today and announces that this is the prediction of her future (a result of one of those childhood games like "MASH").............

I am going to marry Michael......who I don't like because he picks his nose

I will have 5 kids

They will have chores and get paid $1 for each one

We will live in an apartment

I will not have a real job but work at home as a mom, like you

And Michael will have a job, of course, or else we wouldn't have any money

I just love her to death

I remember playing MASH. Maybe someday Jesse will discover that work at home moms do have real jobs. And hopefully her future husband will overcome his nose-picking habit. ;-)

    Hi Roxanne,

Thanks for commenting on my “Ode to Diane” and my VERY long interview with me!

Diane really is a special person and I thought since I’m really not mobile enough to do something physically with her. Take her to dinner a movie or treat her to something fun… I did the only thing I could do from home in bed… a tribute to her. I knew she’d love it and not expecting it make it all more special.

I’m hoping it opens other people’s eyes and makes them appreciate someone that they sometimes don’t give enough credit too. The daily hustle and bustle of life really causes us to forget to come up and smell the roses. When I’m down for the count, at home on sick leave I go through a lot of depression and sadness but I also get to do a lot of inventory on my own life… and while doing this it helps me feel very grateful for the things I do have.

I’m glad you and your hubby worked out your little ‘spat/disagreement’.

As for my brother… I’m not sure this is going to get resolved at all. It’s unfortunate and I’m heart broken over it but it doesn’t look good.

I’m not back to work however last week I was doing a little consulting from home. This weekend ended up in the ER and obviously had not thought out my limits properly.

It really is a rewarding job and I miss it immensely, but I think I need to focus on my for a while so that I can get back to doing all the things I love… eventually.

Thanks so much for your lovely comments, I always love hearing from you.

Awww, that is so cute! That is one of the things that makes me want kids....but not quite enough to actually have one. I don't have the patience, at least at this point, but who does? So yeah, that's cute, have fun with that.
